What is Kid Talker?

Kid Talker is a free website to share with people the funny things kids say.  You can read, rate, comment and laugh over the darndest things children say. You can also save all your kids quotes in your own Kid Talk Journal for a lifetime of kid memories!

Why is my Kid Talk not on the feed?

We try to post the best Kid Talk on the feed. Your Kid Talk will always be saved to your Kid Talk Journal in the exact way that your wrote the submission, but we will post the quotes that make us laugh the most. We will also check for grammar and misspellings before it is posted to the feed. We understand that children will say things incorrectly and we will NOT correct the spellings in those particular cases.

Why is my Kid Talk submission edited?

If your Kid Talk is selected to the feed, we will at times edit to correct misspellings and grammar and in certain cases, to convey the best meaning of your Kid Talk.

Can other people see my Kid Talk Journal?

No. Your Kid Talk Journal is private.  However, your Kid Talk may be posted to the Kid Talk Feed. All information will be anonymous on the Kid Talk Feed besides the child’s first name. We recommend you do not put your last name or exchange any other personal information with others through the site.

Why do I have to Register to submit my Kid Talk?

We want you to be able to save all your Kid Talk for posterity.  This way you can always have your precious quotes by your children saved to share with your family now and in the future.

Will you sell my data or e-mail address?

No, we do not like spam! We do not sell your information or e-mail address. Please read our Terms and Conditions for specifics in how we collect data and what we do with it.

How do I change my emailing options or any other Account settings?

If your personally identifiable information changes (such as your username or email), we provide a way to correct and update your information provided to us. This can be done by editing your Profile/Account page which can always be found by clicking on your username link that is displayed on the upper right corner of the website (you must be logged in to do this) or you can also access your username link in your “My Kidtalk Journal” page. Simply click on your username and it will take you to your Profile/Account information. Furthermore, this is where you will also edit any settings for receiving emails and notifications from Kid Talker. Remember to hit the “Update Profile” button after you make any changes to your profile.
